I think we have to expect that reviews will run the gamut from raves to pans. I'm not inclined to take this review as gospel. For one thing, the critic says that the novel lacks a good storyline. I disagree; IMO Rand was a virtuoso at plotting, even if she did give away the "mystery" element of the story too soon (in the title, actually).
It's safe to say that people who dislike the book will dislike the movie. I don't see that as a negative. It's probably what the filmmakers were hoping for.
